Stupisce.
E riascoltare.
INFORMAZIONI AGGIUNTIVE
THE DUST nasce nel 1995 dall’allora quindicenne cantante Roberto Grillo.

Eyes of Sunrise
Eyes of sunrise, eyes of stars into the sea (Eternally)
There’s a rose that grows up on your face (It throws my mind away) In this world, alone together everywhere
You’re my blood and the spirit in my veins
You’re all
And you make me look through my heart inside You make me better, girl Eyes of sunrise
Make me live, make me feel full
I think of you and everything is your image (What a grace) I desire you more than Paradise (You’re my Paradise)
Tell me honey, d’you ever ask you why I am never wrong with you?
You make me better, girl
with your eyes of sunrise
Every morning, every morning you fill in all my mind Sunrise

Sorry I Hurt You
Maybe we couldn’t find
The right way to leave all behind (Oooh, give it a chance)
Cos behaving so deeply unkind Seems we made us each other blind (Oooh, give it a chance)
Fault’s on two sides But not when it’s mine
I’m so sorry I hurt you
I apologize, I will find everything I can do Well, I’m so sorry I hurt you
I apologize, I will find everything I can do
I hope it’s not late to work it out
Lady, dry up your eyes
Cos I really want you to smile
(Oooh, give it a chance)
When you’re ready this world will shine Of our past things won’t remain a sign (Oooh, give it a chance)
Do you see where we are going to? What is wrong will be right
I’m so sorry I hurt you
I apologize, I will find everything I can do Well, I’m so sorry I hurt you
I apologize, I will find everything I can do
I’m so sorry I hurt you
Oh, right, yes I know what I lose
I’m so sorry I hurt you
Science demonstrated my heart’s set on you I want you to know: what I’m singing is true! Oh, yeah yeah yeah yeah…

Still The Same
(It’s up to you)
All you’ve got, well, you deserve it
Who d’you think you have to blame?
You tore my heart and soul, didn’t feel the shame Then you crumbled them until
There was nothing left to find
Sure, you planned and then you made it, uh?
You’ll never pay for what you’ve done
And more and more you’ll sink the blade
Silly girl, what’s in your mind? Do you really think it’s so? Mmm… then if you wanna try… well do it
So, did you make it?
Cos I’m still the same, yes indeed
Well, oh yeah, all you made these years, you made in vain (Oh yeah) Yes indeed, yes indeed, darling
(It’s up to you)
Oh, you’ve got what you’re deserving Not yet learned to apologize
And over, over time, over, you’re overdue Over, you don’t need to try.. yeah
(Dunna, dunna, dunna, dunna miss, oh yeah) Oh, I still recall you taking (Dunna miss, oh yeah) Me apart and how I still don’t know
(Dunna miss that time)
Cos it was always like a missing rhyme
Always, and still I really don’t know
But I dunna want to whine
Mmm… dopey, after all you’ve Not been able to change what I’m
So, did you make it?
Cos I’m still the same, yes indeed
Well, oh yeah, all you made these years, you made in vain (Oh yeah) Yes indeed, yes indeed, darling
So, did you make it?
Cos I’m still the same, yes indeed
Well, oh yeah, all you made these years, you made in vain (Oh yeah) Yes indeed, yes indeed, darling

The Goal
Hey, hereby, of your self-portraying
No, I don’t feel the need today
Will the sacred flame of your art inspire Something better than a bray?
Showing, sharing, dancing all you useless ballets Seems you base your life on a continuous survey
Kill our brains with your keen design Oh, you made another victim
Don’t move, don’t sing, just moan Now you’re deep inside
Oh, we still want it
Showing, sharing, dancing all you useless ballets Seems you base your life on a continuous survey
Oooh, you say “All is fine”
You take it easy, but when you fall, who remains?
Showing, sharing, dancing all you useless ballets Seems you base your life on a continuous survey
Ah! But there’s a soul, down below
Another piece of you you put on sale
(“Ah, that? I think I’ll throw it away”) Ahahah… Hey, you gotta change in time, you Play an expiring role, you need a goal
(“The same old story again…”)
(“Oh! It’s a doom!”)
(“I dunno… I want something more…”)
(“What do you mean? Makin’ us your thralls?”) (“Oh, yes it is, I will enslave you all!”)
Guess… You’ve reached your goal!
(“It’s so cool!”)

Tomorrow’s Light
Hanging around, with nothing to chase
Though in truth I’d like someone to leave me a trace So, me, healthy and hale
Well I’m falling, what I’m following
Just drives me insane
Wolfs all around, and they’re howling They just fulfill an ancient rule
And I ain’t got my hound
I don’t even know what to do
Just think that I wish you were
Here, you and I, alone, star gazing Resting from our endless fights With no other place to stay in Waiting for tomorrow’s light
Walking around mysterious ways Searching for a sense of my days
So real, this dream has much to reveal Well I’m falling, what I’m following Just drives me insane
Wolfs are around and they’re howling They just fulfill an ancient rule
And I ain’t got my hound
I don’t even know what to do
Just think that I wish you were
Here, you and I, alone, star gazing Resting from our endless fights With no other place to stay in Waiting for tomorrow’s light
Oh yeah…
Waiting for tomorrow’s light Please hold me tight… oh…
And I’m waiting for tomorrow’s light

Got To Get By (Again)
“Take me home”: what you whished, she said But now how are you going to take her home? You just broke the car… you’ll got to get by again (Got to get by, got to get by)
Chemical rain that falls on trees
Waves that change our chromosomes
The planet gets hot, you’ll got to get by again… yeah (Oooh… Get by again…)
I will be at the doorway (maybe one day) You will be at the doorway (well it’s today) Peter will surely ask you something
What do you think you’ll say?
It’s known that one and one is always two (With six you make eight)
It’s not a matter of points of view
(Barium sulphate)
Up there high… you’ll must get by again
When sowing, be careful to avoid the rain Otherwise, what d’you think you’ll gain? Got to get by, got to get by again
Hold on tight, oh well, you’re gonna have to Win this fight, oh well, you’re gonna have to Play it – stand ‘til the end
What you should do is not lose control
Do you know how to reach this goal?
Well, try to guess: you’ll got to get by again!

Who’ll Buy (The Girl Is Waiting)
Oh, what a pity not buyin’ those shoes, they’re so devine!
Oh, it would be pretty if you were kind…
Yeah – Sure it would be silly to leave ‘em there, a thing so cruel! They are really pretty, the shoes for you – Oh, yeah…
Hey, the girl is waiting – You gotta be cool…
(Hey, fool, what d’you think? The girl is waiting for you?) Yes, I can wait
(Take your money, Bill, today you’re gonna be cool) Mmm… honey, money
(Hey, fool, what d’you think? The girl is waiting for you?) Mmm… yes I’m waiting
(Save your money, Bill, one you’re gonna be cool)
No, what are you saying? You have not to wait for it You’ve just to wear them tonight! Yeah…
Who’s goin’ to pay? Not me
You’re sayin’ I pay? That’s right!
No, you’re the man and you buy!
No! No! No! No! No! No! Hey
You swine! Ok? / You get used to it
Oh, not this time / Sure, babe
I want you tell me lookin’ into my eyes! / I won’t be paying this time Now you get back in line! / Oh… baby
Oh, well said / You’re so delightin’
I wanna see you crawl! / Take my loving
I’m not sure he understood / But not my wallet, darling
Hey… No! No! No! No! No! No!…
Yeah… not me… you pay… this time Oooooh!
No! I’m goin’ out of my mind… Oh…
What doesn’t kill, fortifies
Who’ll buy, bu-bu-bu-bu… buy
And still I’m waiting, yeah
Ooh, the girl is waitin’
Sure I’m still, I’m waiting
Those shoes, they struck me to my heart
Ooooh… What a fight, I’m still inside It won’t be over ‘til she has decided Oh… da-da-da-da…
Until she has decided…

Blurred Dreams
Poor me, is this perhaps the meaning? Musing, I try to realize the whys
I lower the shield; so is this how it feels? All I want is some peace of mind
Rob, don’t give in even if it’s so uneasy
I think I’m living on the boundary line
All you were’s kind a blurred dream And seems not far to what now I’m I feel it’s like a mount to climb
So hard to accept it
All we were’s kind a blurred dream
Cold wind, come here, it’s time to wake me Cold wind, please make stop to cry
I lower the shield; so Is this how it feels? All I want is some peace of mind
Rob, don’t give in even if it’s so uneasy
I think I’m living on the boundary line
All you were’s kind a blurred dream And seems not far to what now I’m I feel it’s like a mount to climb
So hard to accept it
All we were’s kind a blurred dream

Dead Man Singing
When I was a man, used to walk into the Land of Fears Never stayed still, always thought I would be killed (my dear) Everybody knew they’ve never been really cruel
And yet, I have to say my eyes were always two balls of scare
Then the death arrived, just for scare an’ not for crime (my dear) Never thought at this always thought I would be killed (my dear) And now, high in the sky, see you passin’ the line
Lookin’ to your eyes, seein’ you screamin’n’cryin’ (my dear)
So hidin’ inside your shell you avoid to meet any friends
Your mother, full of tears, search you everywhere but you’re here Yeah, yeah, yeah
Dead Man Singing, here he is
Dead Man Singing, don’t you hear
Look at yourself, now you’ve finished to wait for your end Dead Man Singing, here he is
Dead Man Singing, don’t you hear
Killed by nobody but we go on to tell our end
Many times I had thought I could back to the Land of Fears
To live another life: many children just a wife (so clear)
But who could be so cool to change his life for a fool
And who could be so strange to do for me my revenge? (my dear)
So hidin’ inside his cell he’ll avoid to meet any friend
His mother full of tears will look for his baby-son but he’ll be here Yeah, yeah, yeah
Dead Man Singing, here he is
Dead Man Singing, don’t you hear
Look at yourself, now you’ve finished to wait for your end Dead Man Singing, here he is
Dead Man Singing, don’t you hear
Killed by nobody but we go on to tell our end

Dear Son
Feed your heart and so your mind Raise your soul and let it shine
Be unbound, this is the key
When you love, just don’t conceal Flee hate, overfly
Always there’s a why
I wonder if one day
I can tell, I can tell you this
Hey, these times, they work against
Well, sometimes it’s hard to read the signs
When a cloud, well, its rain, falls onto your life
You’ll be found by the ghosts of all previuous letdowns
No fear, don’t think everything’s lost
Heal your wound, there’s so much to live (Yeah…)
And the rain will break off Oooh…
How I wish we could be proud Of all the songs we’ll make
Feed your heart and so your mind Raise your soul and let it shine
Be unbound, this is the key
When you love, just don’t conceal Flee hate, overfly
Always there’s a why
